I studied a Diploma of Business (Hospitality) in Tasmania known for its fresh produce and opened my own restaurant/ gourmet store/ catering business in Perth, Western Australia showcasing regional producers. I have auditioned for MasterChef Australia twice and would LOVE to have my own travel/ lifestyle show to share the stories & passion of local producers, educate people where their food is sourced and ignite their appetite to live a healthy lifestyle!
I launched the brand Queen of Foodiness early 2018, a moniker bestowed on me by a friend in media familiar with my restaurant/ gourmet store days, my passion for sourcing local produce, trialling the latest fab ingredients that are trending and the obligatory visits to vineyards & farmers markets. So what is 'foodiness'? All of the above, sourcing seasonal produce, the stories & passion of the regional producers and suppliers, coming up with the ideal recipe to showcase the ingredients, sharing an abundant table with a group of friends, family, colleagues, lovers of all things foodie. Above all, it is the story lines that are enduring over the ages that ties community together, the common thread of love, laughter & fabulous memories shared over a glass of vino...
