>>> 5 Hacks to help your biz stand out from the crowd!

Hi there!

How do you stand out from the crowd?

No matter how great your product or service is, the heart of your business’ success lies in its marketing.

In a world where competition regularly claims to be #1, it’s difficult to differentiate and build your own brand identity.

Let’s look at five ways to help your business stand out from the crowd.  How many of them are part of your current branding strategy?

1.    Treat your customers like royalty.

Provide legendary customer service that is personal. People want to know they are
not just a number and that you genuinely care about them.  Make it easy for clients to connect by providing a personalised feel, be friendly and welcoming as possible.

Treat your customers like royalty, even if you are not in the service industry.

2.    The importance of testing and measuring as a marketing tool.

Get into the habit of prompting clients to say where they heard about your business.  How are you capturing data to understand where your traffic source is coming from?

Understand what your advertising dollar is doing for you, if you can’t measure it, don’t do it.

You have to keep your mind open to trying new things too. Just because something didn’t work in the past doesn’t mean it won’t work next time.

It might just need a slightly different approach.

3.    Come up with something new.

Continue to reinvent your business by adopting emerging technologies and introducing new processes, products and solutions.

For example, make use of social media and mobile apps as a growing number of buyers prefer to find and work with you through their phones.

4.    Invest in marketing – consistency is key.

What percentage of your time and resources is spent on actively marketing your business both online and offline? 10 – 20% of your working week? No matter if it is a set day or a number of hours spread out over each month, dedicate a set amount of time each week to marketing, without distractions, for consistent focus.

Opportunities surround you, actively get focussed on recognising prospects through alliances to grow your business.

5.    Start a blog.

Most forward thinking businesses are familiar with the benefits of blogging.  (Refer to my recent article on why you should be blogging HERE). If you are seeking a fresh way to share ideas and have your voice heard, either write the content yourself, outsource to a copywriter to provide content, or get employees to regularly contribute.

Focus on high quality content that educates, entertains or solves a problem within your niche.

Standing out in a crowd of competitors is no easy task, and it’s getting more difficult all the time.

You need to be constantly evolving and get in front of the trends to stay relevant and on top of your game.

To your success...
